Muppets PR Blitz Vamps On with Twilight Parody Posters

We’ve seen enough satirical Muppets promo material to last us through the next hundred Muppet sequels, but I have to hand it to the tireless Disney merchants for their newest gag: a Twilight Saga spoof. The Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog posters are expected, but it’s the third, Lautner-ian one-sheet that left me speechless. The pun is also first-rate. WEREROWLF. Guys, I LMAROWLF’d. Rowlf is such an understated, necessary player in the Muppet klatch. Glad to see he’s earning his own spot in the promotional materials. He’s even fit for his own role in a real Twilight poster, since he’s so brooding and serious.
